ROOTED YOUTH SUNDAY 🌿🔥 It’s happening TOMORROW. ROOTED YOUTH SUNDAY 🌿🔥 It’s happening TOMORROW. You don’t want to miss this. Sunday, April 12th at 5:00 PM — we’re flipping the script. Our students are taking over the entire service. From worship to greeting, AV to hosting… every part of the night will be led by our youth. Come see what God is doing in the next generation.
Come support them.
Come expect something powerful. The message will be brought by one of our own, and every person serving is a student stepping boldly into their calling. This isn’t just a service — it’s a glimpse of the future. ALL are invited. Bring someone with you! 📍 613 Williams Street
Berlin, MD 21811 Let’s show up BIG for our youth 🙌
✝️ Holy Saturday Today is a day of waiting. For ✝️ Holy Saturday Today is a day of waiting. For the disciples, everything felt still… silent… unfinished. Jesus had died. His body was in the tomb. Grief, confusion, and uncertainty filled the space where hope once lived. But Holy Saturday reminds us of something powerful:
Even when we cannot see it—God is still working. The victory had already been secured.
The cross had already done its work.
Resurrection was coming… even if they couldn’t see it yet. And that’s where many of us find ourselves too. In the waiting.
In the silence.
In seasons where prayers feel unanswered and God feels distant. But silence is not absence.
God is faithful in the waiting.
Faithful in the dark.
Faithful even when we don’t yet see the outcome. “I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope.” — Psalm 130:5 🙏 Today’s Prayer:
Lord, teach us to trust You in the waiting. Help us hold onto hope, knowing You are working even when we cannot see it. Your plan is unfolding, and You are always faithful. #HolySaturday #FaithInTheWaiting #GodIsWorking #FathomChurch #HopeIsComing
“It is finished.” ✝️ On the cross in Gospel of Jo “It is finished.” ✝️ On the cross in Gospel of John 19:30, Jesus spoke one powerful word: tetelestai. Not “I am finished”… but the work is finished.
The mission is complete. The sacrifice is final. The debt is paid. Like the spotless lambs offered during Passover, Jesus became the true and perfect Lamb, once and for all.
And in that moment, what we could never earn… He fully accomplished. You don’t have to add to the cross.
You don’t have to strive to pay what’s already been paid. Because of Jesus—
forgiveness is here,
salvation is secure,
and hope is rising. Today, we rest in His finished work. 🙏
Maundy Thursday ✝️ “Maundy” means commandment—and Maundy Thursday ✝️ “Maundy” means commandment—and tonight we remember the words of Jesus in Gospel of John 13:34–35: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you…” This love isn’t just words or feelings—it has a standard. Jesus Himself. It looks like humility.
It looks like service.
It looks like washing dirty feet.
And ultimately… it looks like the Cross. On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus showed us what real love is: self-giving, sacrificial, and costly. So today we don’t just ask, “Do I love people?”
We ask, “Am I loving people the way Jesus loves me?” Prayer:
Lord Jesus, because You have loved me sacrificially, teach me to love others the same way. 🤍
Spy Wednesday Reflection 🕊️ Some call today “Spy Spy Wednesday Reflection 🕊️ Some call today “Spy Wednesday,” remembering the moment Judas agreed to betray Jesus (Matthew 26:14–16). What makes it so heavy isn’t just the betrayal, it’s the closeness. Judas wasn’t far from Jesus. He walked with Him, heard His words, saw His miracles… and still, behind the scenes, he was negotiating with sin. That’s what makes today personal. Where am I publicly identifying with Jesus while privately resisting Him?
Where am I praising Him with my lips but bargaining with sin in my heart?
Where am I choosing my own way over obedience? Judas traded Jesus for something temporary, thirty pieces of silver. And we do the same anytime we choose comfort, approval, or control over surrender. But here’s the hope of Holy Week…
Jesus knew, and still went to the cross. For betrayers. For broken people. For us. Today’s prayer:
Lord Jesus, search my heart. Expose anything in me that isn’t true, and lead me back to wholehearted loyalty to You. We’ll see you tomorrow for another Holy Week devotion. ✝️
Holy Week Devotion — Tuesday ✝️ In John 12, some Holy Week Devotion — Tuesday ✝️ In John 12, some Greeks make a simple request: “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” But Jesus responds by pointing to the cross. His glory isn’t separate from His sacrifice, it shines through it. Like a seed that must fall and die to bear fruit, Jesus shows us that true life comes through His death and resurrection. What looked like the end became a harvest for the whole world. This Holy Week, we don’t just see His miracles or teaching, we see His glory most clearly at the cross. 🙏 Lord Jesus, help me to see Your glory most clearly at the cross. See you tomorrow for more Holy Week devotions.
✝️ Holy Week Devotion — Monday In Gospel of John ✝️ Holy Week Devotion — Monday In Gospel of John 12:1–7, Mary pours out expensive perfume at the feet of Jesus, an act some called “too much.” But she understood what others didn’t… ✨ Jesus is worthy of costly devotion. As He was on His way to the cross, Mary held nothing back. What she gave wasn’t wasted, it was worship. This Holy Week, we’re invited to ask:
What am I still holding onto?
My time? Comfort? Reputation? Future? The world may say it’s “too much”…
But nothing given to Jesus is ever wasted. 🤍 🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, because You gave Yourself for me, help me to hold nothing back from You. #HolyWeek #FathomChurch #MondayDevotion #FaithOverFear #SurrenderAll

🌲🛠️ Church Work Day — Tomorrow! 🛠️🌲 Fathom family 🌲🛠️ Church Work Day — Tomorrow! 🛠️🌲 Fathom family, join us tomorrow, Saturday, March 14 at 9:00 AM as we meet at the barn for a work day on our new church property!
Our goal is to begin cutting a safe path through the woods so that Fathomers of any mobility level can access the property the Lord has given us. While the building itself is still a long way off, we want our church family to be able to walk the land for prayer, praise, fellowship, and future gatherings. This is one small but meaningful step toward the future home of Fathom Church, and we’d love to have your help if you’re available. Watch the video for more details! 🙏🏽🏡🌿

This quiet morning gathering will include light worship and a short reflection on the power of the resurrection as the sun rises around us. During the service, we will also set aside intentional time to pray for the people in our lives who we hope will come to know Jesus this year — a friend, a coworker, a family member, a neighbor. You don’t have to say their name out loud; simply come ready to lift them up in prayer. After the service, breakfast will be provided, and if you feel led to bring something to share, you’re welcome to. From there, you’re invited to stay and be part of the morning as we prepare for the 9:30 AM service, or join us for a special opportunity to ride over to our new property and pray over the land and what God will do there.
